Four part online workshop covering common pain symptoms caused by; leaning over desks, reaching across boards, working on screens, standing for long periods and working at low heights.

  • Workshop 1 - The foundation of movement is FEET.  The shoes you wear massively impact how you move, learn how to choose the right footwear as an educator and how to create stronger feet to benefit the whole body.  When you feet don't ache every day it makes a world of difference to how you feel.
  • Workshop 2 - Standing - you stand for hours and very often fall into the habit of standing in an inactive way.  This could be the cause of your daily back pain.  Let's learn how to stand well and weave in some stretches for standing as we work.
  • Workshop 3 - Sitting well.  I know you have done your mandatory training on sitting well, however are you really sitting well?  Let me give you some tips for sitting well on any chair that will help with daily pain.  Even the little chairs!
  • Workshop 4 - Seven daily moves - in my experience these are the daily moves that I weave into my day to ensure I maintain a physically well body.  It took me a long time to develop this list but now I can't live without them - they make a huge difference.  Let's get them right together and learn how to weave them into your day in the classroom.
